Stripers and Spots on Lake Lanier
Report Date: October 30, 2009
Shane Watson Guide Service Report (10-30-09). We are still seeing some sporadic schooling on top on the southend on the stripers. Freelined bluebacks, chrome Sebile's, and bone Redfins have produced when the fish have been on the surface. When the wind has been up, freelined bluebacks fished on windy points have worked best. We have also caught and released some big spotted bass on the Sebile on windy points. On sunny days when the water has been slick, downlined and power reeled bluebacks fished over 30 to 40 feet deep points have worked best. Capt. Mack's 4 arm u-rigs fished 80 to 90 feet out are also working while blind pulling points. This report is brought to you by Shane Watson Guide Service and Hammond's Fishing Center. Good Fishing.
